Medical Complications of No Treatment

Untreated OSA is associated with a number of comorbid medical conditions. 

These include but are not limited to:

  • Increased Risk of Cardiovascular Mortality
  • Increased Blood Pressure
  • Decreased Sleep Quality
  • Increased Daytime Fatigue
  • Increased Mood Disorders
  • Decreased Driving Performance

Untreated Severe Sleep Apnea, which is defined as an AHI greater than 30, has been shown to have a 50% Mortality Rate after 15 years.
